Some of you might already know: My parents had sent me a package full of cherries from their and grandmas cherry trees, because I love cherries and I desperately wanted to have some. And of course some for Katrin as well to make some cherry rosemary marmalade. Yummy!
Well… my parents did send the package last week on Monday. On Tuesday I prepared myself, phoned around Berlin to find and buy two cherry stoners: one for me and one for Katrin. BUT: the cherries did never arrive till yesterday. The parcel service guy, whom I had told about my missing parcel on Saturday, came to the shop yesterday with a totally soaked and stinky parcel and said: ” I found your package! It was in Dunckerstraße 19 instead of Raumerstraße 19!” And you know what?! It was delivered there last week on Tuesday! So it took the parcel one day from my parents to Berlin. The silly guy in Dunckerstraße who accidentally accepted a parcel that was not intended to be in this street could have eaten bio-cherries until his stomach is aching. Instead the cherries started to slowly die there.
But now: well I trew them directly into the waste container. I didn’t want to see the discusting mess in the box!
